| I started to have
some interrest in radio´s when i was very young.
Started with CB when i was 10 years old.We first had a 22chan CB with only 0.5 watts. That was legal from that time,and in that time,we where very happy to make contacts with friends over 10-15 Km.After this there came the 40chans-2 watts and soon 40chans-4 watts. |
| In 1987 i started
to get more and more interrest in it.Borrowed first a 120chan Formac from
a friend of mine,for some time.It had 80chans up and 40chans down.
With this radio,i made my first contacts outside my own country.Only on FM,because it had only FM-AM modulation. I made alot of contacts to France,UK,Austria,Germany and more countries. Soon after this,i worked with a President Jackson and found out what Usb-Lsb was. This radio was borrowed as well,and i had a radio in my mind to buy for myself,that i had seen on a picture.This radio is the President Lincoln. It´s my first and still is with me.I like that radio very much,and it works great as well. |
I had many callsigns,started
with Bravo Zulu,from my initials,then came 19ND108,19VR1582,19WR22,19WAC198,19AT332
and 19ON332.
I am a Alfa Tango member now for some years and enjoy it alot to be member of this club. I have made many friends all over the world.Thats the main reason from this hobby as well,make alot of friends and communicate with them about your hobby and interrests. I have made many contacts and have confirmed many countries. |
